ERIKS Completes Cyber Essentials Plus Certification

Cyber security is a growing concern for many businesses, and one we take very seriously at ERIKS. Ensuring we have strong cyber security measures in place means that we are not only protecting ourselves but our suppliers and customers as well.
As part of our cyber security goals we are proud to announce that ERIKS has been certified in Cyber Essentials Plus.
Cyber Essentials is a government backed scheme which helps organisations demonstrate their protections against a large variety of common cyber attacks. The certification process acts as a verification tool for current security status and ensures base-level security and key controls are in place.
There are two types of certifications available. The first certification, simply titled ‘Cyber Essentials’ is a self-assessment option while the second titled ‘Cyber Essentials Plus’ is carried out by an independent certification body.
Cyber Essentials Plus is generally considered to be more rigorous due to the addition of an internal scan and on-site assessment. Ultimately, this choice offers a deeper level of assurance for our organisation and those whom we interact with.
