ERIKS ADDRESSES KEY TOPICS AT MAINTEC 2024
May 2024
ERIKS will unveil a range of cutting-edge MRO supply chain solutions aimed at simplifying the procurement process, optimizing onsite stores and improving asset availability at MAINTEC 2024 on Stand 4-G30. The exhibition is part of Smart Manufacturing & Engineering Week 2024 which takes place at the NEC, Birmingham on 5th and 6th June.
The company will focus on several different areas at the event. Firstly, unveiling its newly restructured OnSite solution. This service is now structured in a modular fashion that allows customers to focus on the major issues they are facing and to add extra modules when time and resource allows.
As the UK pioneer of OnSite services...
Its history and experience covers more than 100 Blue Chip UK manufacturers (spanning pharmaceutical, white goods and household name food and drink producers). ERIKS continually works with them to deliver efficiency and productivity improvements, unburdening them of their problems, taking responsibility to drive improvements in their supply chain and maintenance support all with the aim of building a partnership that lasts.
A key point that MAINTEC will emphasize is that for whatever size of business ERIKS’ has a great solution. For the smaller, entry level customers, the digital shop allows them to use guided selection, RFQ tracking, and comprehensive transaction history, ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement. Complementing this, ERIKS will showcase its digital replenishment tool, simplifying MRO spares restocking to ensure uninterrupted operations.
For those larger customers that need to discuss either technical complexities, different product solutions or differing supply options the service centre personnel are available to take them through this. ERIKS staff can get hands-on with the customer’s problem and ensure they see a problem’s solution right the way through to a satisfactory conclusion.
Investing in infrastructure
This is all backed up by the £20million investment in ERIKS’ new digital and physical fulfilment infrastructure that has transformed the old sluggish model of delivery via service centres into a more modern next-day delivery service.
And finally, ERIKS will showcase its digitised condition monitoring solutions, part of the ERIKS reliability offer. These Industry 4.0 type solutions provide insight and foresight giving advanced warning signals, enabling timely scheduling of repairs or replacements without overwhelming users with complex technology.
ERIKS is not only exhibiting but also sharing the findings of its recent MRO Supply Chain Report in the MAINTEC Solutions Theatre. Paul Lynch will take visitors through the research in sessions timed at 1.30pm on June 5th and 10am on June 6th. In addition, ERIKS will also be holding individual in-depth meetings with visitors as part of the Connect+ hosted meetings service that takes place in Hall 5.
"We are excited to present our latest innovations at MAINTEC," says Pamela Bingham, CEO at ERIKS. "These solutions are designed to empower manufacturers with the tools and resources they need to minimise downtime, optimise MRO supply chain operations, and support long-term growth. We look forward to engaging with visitors and demonstrating how ERIKS can drive transformative change in their supply chain operations."
