Mark Powell

I joined the company in 2001 with what was formerly known as FPT Group, which most of the market knows today as FENNER.

In the early years of my career, I spent time as a qualified Mechanical Engineer working on various types of cars. After leaving school, I spent my first two years qualifying in Engineering with a placement in Injection Moulding.

I began my ERIKS career in our distribution branch in Birmingham, where I worked in the branch and later looked after some of our key accounts. After around three years, I moved over to our onsite business and gained vital experience in inventory management, onsite solutions, and cost-saving initiatives.

In 2007, I took the opportunity to move back to distribution as Branch Manager in 2008. There, I expanded my knowledge and customer service skills, looking after some major fluid power customers and one of our largest Fenner OEM customers.

My commercial career started in 2017 when I moved to support the Power Transmission Product Business Unit. I then transitioned to support our Flow Control and Equipment Business Unit, where I have been for the last four years.

Outside of ERIKS, I have always had a passion for Land Rovers and am often found doing a spot of welding or something on my Defender 90! When I'm not working on the Landy, you'll find me on the golf course or spending time with my wife Sharon, my son Tyler, and of course, the love of my life, Luna—our American Staffordshire Terrier.
