Other features of Norgren's lintra plus rodless cylinder include:Higher load capacity from improved piston designLower static and dynamic friction levelsUniversal mounting grooves on profileSingle ended and alternative porting optionsImproved dust protection across the whole rangeThe New lightweight design extrusion with universal mounting groovesProved and patented sealing systemDust protection as standardUp to 10% higher loading values against internal guiding series M/46000Interchangeability with series M/46000 |
| SMC Rodless CylindersRodless Cylinders in our SMC range include the CY and MY1 series.
The SMC CY rodless cylinders have no piston rod extending outside the cylinder body. Instead, the internal piston is connected to an external carriage, by means of a magnetic or mechanical coupling system. They are ideal for long stroke applications because they are unaffected by rod overhand, bending, piston binding, and uneven seal wear, and are ideal for use where space is a premium.
The SMC MY1 rodless cylinders also have no piston rod extending outside the cylinder body. Again, the internal piston is connected to an external carriage, by means of a magnetic or mechanical coupling system. They are ideal for long stroke applications because they are unaffected by rod overhand, bending, piston binding, and uneven seal wear, and are ideal for use where space is a premium.
Festo Rodless CylindersRodless cylinders in our Festo range include the DGC and DGP series.
The DGP rodless cylinder has a compact design and has a fitting length relative to stroke.
The DGP rodless cylinder is highly adaptable, thanks to wide choice of mounting and attachment options and has adjustable end-position cushioning systems.
The DGP rodless cylinder can be combined with the modular system for handling and assembly technology. It is maintenance-free (for up to 5000 km with a recirculating ball bearing guide) and has a wide choice of variants such as- Clamping unit
- Extended slide
- Air connections on both sides
- Electronic cushioning with SoftStop SPC11
The Festo DGC rodless cylinder has a compact design and also has a fitting length relative to stroke.
Loads and devices can be directly mounted on the slide. Three types of cushioning are available:- Flexible cushioning
- Pneumatic cushioning
- Hydraulic cushioning
All settings on the Festo DGC rodless cylinder are accessible from one side with precision end position adjustment, position of proximity sensors, mounting of drive, speed regulation, and pneumatic end position and cushioning.
Advantages of the sealing system include:- Long strokes without restrictions
- DGC-18 to 3,000mm
- Above DGC-25 to 5,000 mm
- Virtually zero-leakage
Origa Rodless CylindersRodless cylinders in our Origa range include the OSP series.
The OSP series of rodless pneumatic cylinders are the first rodless cylinders that have been approved for use in potentially explosive atmospheres in Equipment Group II, Category
2 GD. The Cylinders are to the ATEX Certification 94/9/EG (ATEX 95) for pneumatic components.
To avoid excessive bending and oscillation of the cylinder, mid-section supports are required dependent on specified stroke lengths and applied loads.
The mid-section supports are clamped onto the dovetail profile of the cylinder tube. They are also able to take the axial forces.
